Biography

November of 2010, The Jeremiah Johnson Band with The Sliders released their debut CD "9th and Russell"! It has been extremely well received by radio and fans! With radio play from Alaska to Florida, US to Japan! The success of “9th and Russell” has propelled the band to the forefront of the St Louis music scene. The Jeremiah Johnson Band with The Sliders, are the proud winners of the 2011 St Louis Blues Society IBC Challenge. They were also named the 2010 St Louis "King of the Roots" winners! In addition, Jeremiah Johnson was proud to be the 1st place finalist of the 2004, 2005, and 2006 Houston TX Regional Blues Challenges, sponsored by The Houston Blues Society. The band is now releasing their sophomore CD, “Brand Spank’n Blue”! Expected to be released November 2011, they are expecting to make an even bigger splash in 2012.
